La Secta AllStar

La Secta is one of the most successful and influential Puerto Rican rock bands. The band owns a great amount of achievements and recognitions in their 15 years of trajectory. They reached the #1 position in Puerto Rico with their songs “Bombón de Azúcar”, “Dame Lo Que Quieras”, “Hey Corazón”, “Pecar por Ti”, “Consejo” and “La Locura Automática”. Their last three albums AllStar, Túnel and Consejo, have debuted in the #1 position in Puerto Rico in all categories. They obtained an ASCAPaward for their single “Dame Lo Que Quieras” and won the “Premio Tu Música” with their album Túnel in the category of “Mejor Album de Rock” (Best Rock Album).

Puerto Rican Power Orchestra

Topical orchestra Puerto Rican Power was formed by Basist Jesús Castro in the early ’70s, soon granting its leadership to trumpet player Luisito Ayala. In 1983, singer Tito Rojas joined in, starting a new stage in the Puerto Rican salsa history. After reaching an agreement with musical production, Puerto Rican Power recorded Canta Tito Rojas, Con Más Poder, and the successful Con Todo El Poder, released in 1992, featuring the hit single “A Donde Iras.”

Hector Lavoe

Hector Lavoe was a Puerto Rican salsa singer that performed with the Willie Colón Band of the 1960’s. In 1990, HEctor performed for the last time with the Fania All Stars in New Jersey.
