Omar Alfanno is a singer, songwriter, arranger and record producerthat has made a great impact on Salsa music and popular latin music of Puerto Rico.
He has written for such Latin artists as Tony Vega, Marc Anthony, and Son By Four. For all his hard work he was awarded the 2001 Composer of the Year award by ASCAP.
This performance features legendary Tito Puente and The Latin Percussion Jazz Ensemble. The past 50 years before Tito Puente’s death in 2000 he played music professionally, recorded over 100 albums and most of them were with big Latin dance orchestras such as the Latin percussion Jazz Ensamble.
LDA is the only male/female reggaeton duo currently out. The group members are Baby Psycho and Orquidea Negra. LDA stands for Los Dementes Algarete.
Wisin & Yandel (also known as El Duo de la Historia or El Duo Dinamico!) are a Latin Grammy nominated reggaeton duo. The group recently won the Los Premios MTV Latinoamerica Best Urban Artis viewers choice award.
